Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: SSE Wind Stength: 20-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 1-2 foot clean surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 14ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Lovely cross-offshore front-side wave-riding session. Not the sort of
conditions we get that often, but once I'd got over surfing the waves as if
on a surfboard it was excellent, so easy with the extra speed and power to
make sections that would be ipossible without a sail and really easy to get
yourself out of trouble right in the critical section of the wave.
Loads of wind out the back, overpowered with my 5m lots of the time, but
then struggled to get going in amojngst the whitewater on the way out due
to the strong current. Impi, Kirk, a guy from Tywyn and Chris were out as
well and I think Richard went in for a session a little later on.
Lets hope the wind is the same tomorrow and the waves a little bigger.
